Análisis del Amplificador de Audio en Clase H con Fuente Conmutada.
Abstract
Audio frequency power amplifiers are often formed in class AB. Obtaining a theoretical highest efficiency of 78,5% when the input signal is maxima. But the power consumed by the supply is very elevated during this operation. These amplifiers use linear power supplys, with transformers and filters of great size. At the beginning of 1990 it was begun to implement switching power supplys like supply circuit for a stage of amplification formed in class AB. Also It was combined it with stages in Class G, H and very recently D. Class H, has the great advantage to increase the theoretical efficiency to more of 87% when the input signal is Maximum and to optimize it when the input signal is minimum. This is because the power supply instantaneously follows the variations of the input signal (rail-tracker). This paper presents the working analysis of an amplifier class H, obtaining like final product, an audio power amplifier with high efficiency, low level of total harmonic distortion, low weight, without swithching noise and small dimension.
