Abstract

Curing characteristics of various anaerobic adhesives are discussed and data on the factors affecting shear strength, band of viscosities, and effect of exposure to temperature on the bond strength are presented graphically. The properties of locking fasteners, prevailing torque fasteners and anaerobic adhesives used on threaded fasteners are compared.
