Abstract

Anticoagulants and antithrombotic drugs are among the most frequently prescribed drugs. In the last 20 years, new drug classes have emerged, which have significantly improved the therapeutic possibilities. In the last 20 years, new classes of drugs have appeared which have significantly improved the therapeutic possibilities. These new drug groups can trigger hypersensitivity reactions with very different frequency and severity. The immunologically mediated side effects of the indirect and direct anticoagulants, as well as the antiplatelet inhibitors, are discussed below.
