Abstract

There are many victims of poorly conceived, brutally misinterpreted reengineering programs in businesses everywhere. Reengineering is a good idea, but misuse and abuse have poisoned the well and turned it into a buzzword for eliminating people. The people in any organization who are going to bring about major change must be involved in the process. To achieve success, the top and bottom must work together.
