Applications of GPS in grain logistics management information system

Abstract

For the problems of real-time transmission and application of the grain logistics vehicle information, the grain logistics vehicle information collection can be realized by means of GPS, SMS and windows service. And the management and application of the grain logistics vehicle information can be realized in virtue of the platform of management information system and the geographic information system. Test results show that the grain logistics information can be managed and monitored conveniently and effectively with this method. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
