Abstract

The economic situation we are living the Western company has led the urgent need for companies not only have focus their efforts on improving technology, but also, to be implementing new management techniques that are provide a competition between satisfaction customer and increased performance obtained. For this reason we relieve show the importance of good management processes such as one of the techniques better management to cut costs. This work conducts an empirical study based on statistical analysis of responses obtained through a questionnaire to companies in Spain, specifically in Catalonia, which seeks found empirical evidence about the positive effects for firms of the implementation of process management methods in terms of efficiency, and in particular, in productivity. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.
