Abstract

Many studies have found that social workers often have negative feelings about the elderly. The authors review research findings in this area, offer explanations for the negative feelings of professionals, and provide suggestions for insuring appropriate attitudes among those who work with elderly clients. © 1978 by the National Association of Social Workers, Inc.
