Abstract
In this paper we present a case study in which we integrated an existing Learning Object Repository (LOR) and authoring environment. In particular, we developed a generic Coldfusion API to the Ariadne Knowledge Pool System, and we relied on that API to integrate the Galatea authoring environment with the repository. We discuss the advantages, how we have approached the problem, some implementation challenges and future work.
