Abstract

This paper desires to give a general image of the possibilities thatbinary models offer in implementing correct and coherent decisions. Thepresentation includes binary models with latent variables, LOGIT, PROBITand TOBIT models. The methodological aspects brought to light are ofmuch use to both theoreticians with interest in the field andpractitioners that utilize these models in their analyses.
