In Germany, fuel cell technology is characterized by the demonstration projects under the National innovative program. The field tests for fuel cell vehicles as part of the Clean Energy Partnership and the domestic energy installations under the Callux project are presented. The launch of subsidized domestic energy facilities in Japan; further progress in the area of reliability and durability; effective media circumnavigation voyage of three B-Class F-Cell vehicles; and the development of a hydrogen infrastructure in the next few years are discussed.
