Abstract

Survival rates for severely burned patients have improved during the last decades. Due to this fact, these patients often need consecutive reconstructive intervention. In this chapter, we show some common techniques for reconstruction after burns. Further, we describe also other possibilities (e.g., prosthesis) to help these patients to successfully reintegrate into daily life.
