Abstract

The fractal theory poses a possible solution to unify many of apparently different problems related to the physics of disordered systems. At the heart of the fractal geometry, the underlying physics of such phenomena and the conditions under which each type of growth occurs is a problem that needs further discussion. Such correlations are discussed by considering a generalized dynamical fractal growth model. The many eden cluster aggregation model which simulates 2D-percolative systems presenting statistically the main morphological characteristics of thin films materials is presented.
