Abstract

Extraction of the resin of Canarium boivinii Engl., Burseracae located in Madagascar, gave limonene, dipentene, α-pinene, α- and β-amyrins, elemadienonic and elemadienolic acids; this acid is not a unique product but it has been proved to be a mixture of at least two components, very difficult to separate. © 1971.
