Abstract

In December 2000, the Air Force Research Laboratory and the University of Florida College of Engineering successfully hosted the first Work-shop on Cooperative Control and Optimization in Gainesville, Florida. About 40 individuals from government, industry, and academia attended and presented their views on cooperative control, what it means, and how it is distinct or related to other fields of research. This book contains selected refereed papers summarizing the participants’ research in control and optimization of cooperative systems.
