Abstract

The article presents a study on the course of action that the management of Fairmont New Orleans Hotel should carry out to cope up with Hurricane Katrina. It evaluates the financial and public relations implications of the potential courses of action. It also analyzes the fulfillment of the company's disaster preparedness and responsibilities to the community and its employees.
