Abstract

We discuss a stochastic method for configurational energy minimization, with applications to high-dimensional data clustering and visualization. Also, we demonstrate numerically the ability of the method to capture meaningful biological information from cancer-related microarray data, and to differentiate between different leukemia cancer subtypes. © 2011 Elsevier B.V.
