Abstract

The distribution of the dragonfly fauna observed in the Puy-de- Dome is mapped on the 1/50 000-e I.G.N. database, divided into 4 areas. This is a 12 years compiled work (1980-1991) in which the different kinds of aquatic ecosystems have been systematically visited. 67 species (26 Zygoptera and 41 Anisoptera) have been listed. Some faunistic and ecological remarks are added ; we analyze the evolution of the community with references to the oldest published works and a red list of the endangered Odonata in the Puy-de-Dome is suggested
