Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to generate the adaptive courseware for distance education which supports the learning technology standards SCORM adopts. Since the issues have been found during the application of the standards, this paper tries to construct the courseware at the pedagogy layer, and takes the standards as a bottom layer. The idea is to provide a learning model based on pedagogy and then give the realization model based on standards. Using the method, the learning strategy can separate from the content, so the adaptive courseware can be assembled dynamically. ©2010 IEEE.
