Abstract

The authors of this position paper describe the current and potential uses of new technologies in the classroom. Mobile, wireless devices such as global positioning systems, tablets, and cellphones are changing instruction and learning. Many of these tools provide constant access to Internet resources, which allows extensive communication and collaboration. The authors share ways educators can utilize new technologies such as the iPod and iPad.
