Abstract

A detailed discussion of the energy embedded in water as well as the water embedded in energy. offers a mathermatical treatment of energy return on water invested. what makes this article different from the Pate articles is the indeptha analysis of water use and disposal and the enerrgy used for various treatment methods and the cost pergallon of water. The authors also include a discussion of water supply and water demand. and ask an interesting question, Does volume of water used correlate to quality of life or happiness ?
