Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess whether epinephrine compared to placebo, no treatment, any other drugs (excepted salbutamol) administered to treat transient tachypnea of the newborn, or any ventilation strategy is effective and safe in the treatment of transient tachypnea of the newborn in infants born at ≥ 34 weeks gestational age. We will perform subgroup analyses regarding gestational age, birth weight, mode of delivery, route of administration, and dosage of epinephrine.
