Abstract
We present an approach to automated workflow policy refinement process supported by the domain experts' knowledge. The expertise knowledge about refinement patterns are captured by using the pattern paradigm. The combination of the temporal logic formalism and the description logic formalism facilitates the automated policy refinement process.
