Abstract

Fire is one of the blessings which is very useful for human in many ways but sometimes it can be destructive for human and property. Fire produces heat, smoke and flame which is dangerous and gets a problem to take the breath, suffocation increased if wood and other materials caught flame then fire can be spread in surrounding so quickly. In history, there are large numbers of the list of fire disasters. It is a serious issue to detect fire at the early stage to save lives and property. In history, researchers worked for it using different techniques and the most basic mechanism is the alarm system to alert people. In this paper, Fuzzy Logic based Fire Controller System (FCS) is designed to detect fire at early stage and extinguishment of a fire. FCS is designed using tiny, small size and low-cost multiple sensors. The purpose of using change rate for both temperature and humidity and flame presence is to make system general and more accurate because in many cities temperature can be different, change rate within time interval can be used to detect fire to get the accurate result. The Simulation work is done in MATLAB.
