Abstract

The article focuses on the benefits of social media for a business enterprise. According to marketing research firm Gartner Inc., instead of e-mails, 20% of business users will be using social networking as primary form of communication by 2014. Another study by McKinsey & Co. shows that social media offer measurable business benefits like better access to knowledge and higher revenue.
