Abstract

This book attempts to present a theory of sound propagation in the ocean in its most fundamental form. However, the main theoretical chapters are prefaced with a first chapter where the most interesting experimental facts are presented. The book is intended for students, post graduates, researchers and practical workers dealing with ocean acoustics.
