Abstract

Although marcel affirms that conversion is always a mystery, his philosophical development led him into the christian faith. the first difficulty to be overtaken was his idealism learned at the sorbonne (paris). he immediately undertook the elaboration of an ontology open to the transcendency. after his conversion he tried to justify the christian faith. although faith cannot be verified, the act of faith is the fulfillment of man's existence.
