Abstract

The aim of the paper is to show the philosophy of G. Marcel as a personally expe_rienced encounter with the most burning problems of our times. In his view the philosophical reflection is discovering of the meaningful order of the world. Attention is paid also to the influence, of G. Marcel{\textquoteright}s work on the thinking of Slovak and Czech philosophers.
