Grand unified theory

Abstract

The Chemical Engineer (TCE) has published an annual list of chemical engineering consultancies, the Consultants File, since 1993. In parallel, the Institution of Chemical Engineers has maintained and published its List of Consultants, which has been available exclusively on the Internet since 1996. The September 7, 2000 issue of TCE brings these two directories together for the first time, in a single unified directory. The two lists may appear to do the same thing but they have had and continue to have somewhat different purposes and entry requirements.
