Abstract
The author offers her views on the significance of information technology adoption for nursing practice and health care. She believes that teaching communication and other relevant courses necessitates the need for integration of the Internet resources with classroom learning. She argues that to move forward, there is a need to embrace the changes and utilize the Internet and information transmission for safe and effective, ethical practice and learning.
