Abstract

The article presents an overview of the relationship between health science librarianship and health informatics. In the article the author discusses her opinions on the relationship and on the ways that health science librarianship has contributed to the field of health informatics. A discussion of methods which could be used to improve the relationship between health science librarianship and health informatics is presented. The author's experiences of working in a school of library and information science and in a center for health informatics are discussed.
