Abstract

The impact of organizational climate on job satisfaction and job performance of the employees (n = 380) was investigated among employees at three managerial levels from different Indian organizations. It was found that organizational climate had a significant effect on job satisfaction and job performance. It was further observed that both organizational climate and job satisfaction differed significantly across the three levels of hierarchy namely; top, middle and junior level managers. However, job performance of the employees did not differ significantly across the hierarchy. The implications of findings are discussed.
