Abstract

Indigenous research requires a context that is consciously considered and purposefully incorporated into the research by the researcher. Indigenous research methodologies are those that enable and permit Indigenous researchers to be who they are while engaged actively as participants in research processes that create new knowledge and transform who they are and where they are.
