Abstract

Klebsiella arthritis is uncommon. This report describes 2 cases seen in one year in one hospital and reviews the previous 9 welldocumented cases. Despite a long delay in diagnosis, antibiotic treatment without drainage procedures resulted in complete cure in one patient and cure with some impairment in the other. © 1989 Springer-Verlag.
