Abstract

This paper uses 2002 Hebei Province Input-Output Data and input-output mathematic model to reveal consumption, investment, export and how they affect the economic development of Heibei. The results indicate that capital formation has the greatest influences on the provincial economic development; total consumption has less strong effects; export has even less effects. This paper also offers the major industries in the consumption, investment and export fields, and compares these data with the national average, exposing the gap between Hebei and other provinces and then proposing suggestions to stimulate the economic development of Hebei.
