Abstract

A supportive organizational culture is crucial to the enhancement of job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to study the relationship of the organizational culture and job satisfaction among middle school teachers in Tehran city. The statistical society of study included all middle school teachers of Tehran city in the school year 2009 which were 123 numbers who were selected by cluster sampling. Darabi's Organizational Culture questionnaire (2008) and Smith, Kandle and Heulin's job Descriptive Index (1969) were used as the research tools. Analysis of data revealed that there was a significant relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction.
