Language and New Media

Abstract

The chapters in this volume are drawn from the nearly two hundred presentations given and workshops conducted at the 2011 Georgetown University Round Table on Lan- guages and Linguistics (GURT), “Discourse 2.0: Language and New Media.” Given the constraints of space inherent in a volume of this sort, it was necessary to reject many worthy papers. We are grateful to all those who submitted their papers for con- sideration, and to all those who were involved in the conference. To all who partici- pated, we continue to be inspired by your work.
