Leiomyoblastoma (epithelioid leiomyoma) of the stomach is a rare tumor displaying the same gross characteristics as the leiomyoma, but with a different histological appearance. Most of these tumors are biologically benign, but some show malignant changes. A case of gastric leiomyoblastoma is presented with a brief review of the literature. The clinical and pathological features, diagnosis and treatment are discussed.
