Limit point criteria for second-order Sturm–Liouville equations on time scales

Abstract

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the classification of the secondorder Sturm–Liouville equation on time scales being in the limit point case are established. They unify and extend some of the criteria known for the second-order Sturm–Liouville differential and difference equations.
