Abstract

Gives details of further investigations on the relation between cone production and the mensurational features of Picea abies stands in various forest types in the Archangel region [cf. FA 32, 2393]. Nearly 90% of the seed crop is produced by trees having a 'relative diameter' more than or equal to 1 [where 1 is mean d.b.h. of stand?].
