Abstract
An increasing number of Hungarian co-operative farms are combining certain production systems for certain crop growing activities. In none of these activities, however, can the expensive range of machinery required be optimally exploited by these farms. It is concluded that the preconditions for the economic utilization of a range of machinery is the establishment of complex crop production systems where one or more of the machines can be used in common for various associated activities. Planning conditions and tasks of the complex crop production systems are also listed.
