Abstract

This paper presents a technique for automatic generation of a transition network and its translation to a PLC program from the processing specifications. On the one hand the paper presents an algorithm for generating PLC code, and on the other hand the paper presents a new representation scheme expressing the high level function of the system. Thus, it is hoped that the new transition networks could become successful replacement for the current PLC languages. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2008.
