Monitoring of Leptospirosis in 38 healthy dogs were conducted for allyear 2004. No Leptospire was demonstrated in all urine samples by directdark field microscope and cultivation. Serological examinations bymicroscopic agglutination test (MAT) were done three times in January,May and December 2004 and the agglutinating antibodies (titer >= 1:100)of these dogs against Leptospira were found at 39.5, 28.9 and 42.1percent, respectively. The three main serovars prevalence weretarassovi, bataviae and sarmin. The agglutinating antibodies (titer >=1:100) of serovar canicola and icterohaemorrhagiae which contains invaccine that annually vaccinates the dogs could be detected in 2.63 and0 percent, respectively.
