Abstract
_ 13 29 H_IIA H_II 85 The H_IIA launch vehicle launched August 29,2001 is wellbalanced in payload capability, reliability, practicality, safety, and cost compared to be H_II launch vehicle. To realize these concepts, aggressive efforts to make a less costly, less risky launch vehicle have transformed the H_II into an almost completely new booster. We describe new H_IIA technologies and its maiden flight results. H_IIA
