Abstract

Theoretical basis is established for a new method of light bulb modeling, using a lamp as a source of heat for experimental investigation of radiative heat transfer. The method is based on a generalized equation for heat exchange by radiation in systems with an attenuating medium compiled relative to the resulting radiation and radiation equilibrium. New concepts are introduced for the generalized intensities of self-radiation and effective radiation as well as the generalized surface of the radiating system, which allows us to substantially simplify the mathematical formulation of the problem.
