The number of seal patents continues to increase

Abstract

Sealing Technology has continued to include a summary of patents granted that cover some aspect of sealing. During 2008 the number of patents again increased. A number of regular subject areas have again proved popular with cylinder head gaskets, clearance seals and piston rings being among the most numerous classifications. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd.
