Within the German national research project HINVA (High-lift INflight VAlidation) the prediction of maximum lift of realistic transport aircraft configurations shall be improved. This is achieved by a close link of flight tests, cryogenicwind tunnel tests and numerical simulations. Within the HINVA flight test campaign in 2012 several so called pressure belts were installed on one wing of the Airbus A320 used for the flight tests tomeasure surface pressure data on the wing for the complete polar up to CLmax. To investigate the influence of these belts on the measured data, a numerical investigation was performed. This paper will show the results of these investigations by a comparison of simulations with and without pressure belts.
