Abstract

A one-stage surgical technique for construction of vagina and labia in male transsexuals is described. A full thickness penile skin pedicle based proximally is utilised to line the vaginal canal and scrotal skin is used for labial construction. Our results in the treatment of 19 patients are discussed. © 1973.
