Orbital exenteration is a procedure to address potentially fatal malignant tumors of the orbit and adnexa. Subtotal exenteration spares some periocular tissues, while a total exenteration spares none. An extended exenteration involves removal of the bony orbit, adjacent sinuses, and other involved facial bones.
