Abstract

Iron-phthalocyanine on zeolite Y has been used for the catalysis of cyclohexanone and cyclohexane into adipic acid, by an environnement-friendly one-pot reaction. Heating and fine-tuning of the solvant allowed high conversion and good selectivity for adipic acid. © 1994, Elsevier Science B.V.
