The Paris - Strasbourg high-speed line

Abstract

On 10th June 2007, TGV high-speed trains operated by French state railways SNCF, and ICE high-speed trains of Deutsche Bahn, will commence operations on France's eastern high-speed line Paris - Strasbourg, running services from Paris to Luxembourg, Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart, and also to Basel und Zurich. As from the start of the new timetable on 9th December 2007, the service will also extend to Munich. The new high-speed line will shorten rail journeys on these connections by several hours.
